When you compare this design to other types you will quickly understand why this is the best selling dolly! Much more robust frame and design, and you can tell how easy it is to use. Other brands may say removing ramps is a benefit, but I can tell from using them on several vehicles it very difficult to remove the ramps and then try to crawl under the vehicle to mount the ramps, both when loading and unloading the vehicle. Also other designs do not have safety chains mounted to the frame of the dolly that attach to the bottom of the vehicle. This is unacceptable and towing without safety chains presents a risk. Some other brands do not offer a storage area for a spare tire because of the ramps being stored under the car.
